The Municipality of Tiberias and the Tourism Unit consider it of utmost importance to make information and tourism services accessible to the general public, including people with disabilities. This website was built in accordance with the Israeli standard (TI 5568) for content accessibility on the Internet at the AA level.
The site supports full keyboard navigation, is adapted to screen readers, and includes proper color contrast in all components. All images are accompanied by a textual description, and the forms include clear labels and accessible error messages.
In addition, you can activate a traffic reduction mode – all animations on the site will be disabled according to the user’s preference in the operating system.
Information on site access, beaches and attractions in the city appears on the designated page of each place. Data concentration on physical accessibility is available on the page Information to the tourist.
Did you encounter an accessibility problem? We would appreciate it if you could update us: the municipal accessibility coordinator, phone 04-6739500 extension 3, or by email accessibility@tiberias.muni.il. We will handle every inquiry within 14 business days.
